During curing, the chemical composition produces a dense elastic end product that is well-suited for filling cracks in mineral surfaces. It has a flowable consistency and can be incorporated deep into milled cracks.

Because BF expansion joint compound is an elastic, crack-bridging synthetic resin compound for the building renovation area, it provides a non-positive connection of cracks in plaster and concrete surfaces, an elastic seal in plant construction and a crack-bridging coating that is liquid-tight, mechanically strong and resistant to chemicals after hardening.
